As a DSP Development & Support Engineer, you will participate in both product development and Sales & Marketing support.
Within product development, you will be involved in the full development life cycle, to design, develop, test and maintain signal processing & analysis modules for our sonic systems. Specifically, this includes working with our development team on adaptive and non-adaptive signal processing and analysis algorithms for signals with audio range frequency content, implementation in an oil & gas industry field deployable hardware platform, and post analysis of critical field data.
Supporting our Sales & Marketing team with customer visits and responding to their technical inquiries will be a significant aspect of your focus.
Occasional trips to oil & gas field sites will be required.
This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively independently, as well as in a small team of 2-3 members. A strong understanding of adaptive processing is important. Understanding of adaptive learning systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with analog sensor interface issues is helpful.
